Sara is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She has earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Guelph-Humber, and is working towards completing her practicum hours so she may achieve her Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
Sara has a passion for active listening and practices a client-centered approach to counselling. She offers assistance for teens, young adults, adults, and seniors as they progress through difficult transitional periods. Sara is developing her therapeutic skills so she may provide even greater support for her clients who may be struggling with a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, transitional stress, interpersonal concerns (workplace, family, friendships), and more.
Sara strives to employ a culturally conscious, integrated approach for her clients, with an aptitude for cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), meaning making, and challenging her client’s thinking while maintaining an encouraging, positive, and empathetic demeanor. Sara believes that everyone is capable and deserving of internal harmony and well-being!
