About…

You deserve to be believed.

Whether you’re navigating a new diagnosis like endometriosis, PMOS/PCOS, or PMDD, facing infertility or pregnancy loss, living with chronic pelvic pain, struggling with food or your body, processing sexual trauma, or wondering how trauma may have shaped your experiences, therapy can offer a place to explore what often feels difficult to talk about.

I bring 12+ years’ experience and extensive training working with eating disorders, chronic dieting cycles, over-exercise, and negative body image as a clinical nutritionist. Currently an Expressive Arts therapist-in-training, Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, and Certified Intuitive Eating Counsellor, I offer trauma-responsive, attachment-informed psychotherapy for adults seeking to understand themselves more deeply, process impossible questions, and move beyond survival with someone who gets it.

You may find we’re a good fit if you’re looking for support with:

  • A new medical diagnosis and the grief associated with it
  • Making medical decisions (e.g., medications, surgery, out-of-country medical support, patient advocacy)
  • Medical trauma (e.g., medical gaslighting, invasive procedures, medical neglect/malpractice)
  • Infertility and/or trying to conceive after miscarriage
  • Living with a chronic illness/chronic pain and the depression, anxiety, and possible suicidal ideation that accompany it
  • Sexual trauma, objectification, and complicated sexual experiences
  • Eating disorders/disordered eating (e.g., Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, EDNOS/OSFED, Binge Eating Disorder/binge eating, disordered eating, orthorexia, emotional eating, chronic dieting, over-exercise, and disordered eating)
  • Body image concerns, body acceptance, and body grief

If you’re curious about working together, I’d be happy to connect for a free 30-minute consultation to answer your questions and see whether we’re a good fit. I’m not a smile and nod therapist; I strive to be engaged, direct, insightful, warm, non-judgmental, and gently confrontational. For those interested in modalities: I use ACT, Somatic Experiencing®, EFT, and Expressive Arts, some CBT, and Intuitive Eating. I’m also an SE training assistant and approved to provide personal sessions at the Beginning level. Please reach out for a complimentary 30-minute call to see if we’re a good fit for each other.
