About…

Hi! I’m Sarah (she/her) and I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).

I have been working in the mental health field since 2019. Most of my experience in the field has come from working with young adults as they navigate addiction recovery, self-esteem challenges, difficult relationships with family and friends, disordered eating, and everyday struggles of “adulting”. In my work I prioritize a trauma-informed approach and aim to foster self-compassion and curiosity. I’m passionate about helping clients connect to their values, strengths, and resilience. My priority in session is that you feel safe, heard, and valued when you share your story. I have learned how valuable a therapeutic relationship can be in healing from past relational traumas and empowering change. The work we do together can be scary, at times, and it can also be life-changing. I bring my authentic self to each session. That includes compassion, curiosity, and humour.

Whether you’re going through a life transition, exploring your past or current patterns, hoping to make a change, or just wanting a little extra support this winter through seasonal affective disorder –  I’m here for you. I’d be more than happy to set up a consult to see if we’re a good fit to work together! You can reach me by email or by booking an initial consult through my website. I have evening availability!
