The fact that you are here speaks volumes; when life feels unmanageable or overwhelming, it can be really difficult to reach out for help. Although it can be a scary venture, you are taking powerful action steps toward a more hopeful future.
By working through an anti-oppressive, social justice-oriented, and trauma-informed lens, I aim to create a space that is supportive, open, and warm. For us to work together in developing a deeper understanding of yourself, I emphasize the importance of trust, collaboration, and continuous exploration of your values and goals. During our sessions, we will work together to examine both the internal and external parts that may keep you stuck and work toward developing insight and growth.
I am currently a MSW student with experience working with individuals ranging from children to adults. I am currently practicing under supervision by a senior therapist at TCEH. I believe in using a collective-modality approach, and often draw from Emotion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, low self-worth and self-esteem, academic/career stress, disordered eating, panic disorder, and perfectionism.
I look forward to seeing you heal, grow, and thrive.
