Accepting NEW clients.
As the parent of someone transitioning into adolescence, is your child overly anxious as they struggle with low-self esteem and a lack of confidence? They’re in the middle of figuring out who they are and are exploring different facets of their identity, including questions around gender, sexuality, and how they express themselves in their clothing choices. During this process, they may be having difficulty making or maintaining positive relationships with those around them. At home or school, overwhelming feelings of worry and frustration are becoming harder to deal with and your child is in need of support.
Through storytelling, art and play, I offer therapy for children and youth to help them through challenges and build a stronger connection to the person they are. We’ll explore their values and work on boundary setting so they can make better choices in the face of social or emotional challenges, and establish healthier ways to cope with big emotions.
Navigating their tween and teen years with more confidence and security is something your child can achieve. Through our personalized sessions, we’ll work on reducing anxiety and increasing well-being for a happier transition to the person they are becoming.
