Hi, I’m Sarah (she/her). I work with university students, LGBTQ2S+ folks, former elite athletes, and people navigating anxiety, medical trauma, identity, life transitions, relationship challenges, and changes in health or ability.
You may be reading this because you’re overwhelmed by worry, struggling with identity or self-esteem, facing a major life transition or changes in your health, or feeling disconnected. You may not know exactly what you need, or where to even begin, only that you don’t want to keep feeling this way. I view therapy as an way to reconnect with parts of yourself that may have become difficult to access beneath expectations, coping patterns or difficult experiences. Rather than trying to change who you are, we explore what has shaped you and what you may need now.
I draw from Internal Family Systems-informed, somatic, mindfulness, and existential approaches to help you notice not only what you think, but what you feel and experience in your body. Together, we can develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself and create change that feels genuine and sustainable.
The process of starting therapy can feel daunting, and you don’t have to know exactly where to begin. I’ll meet you where you are, and I offer complimentary 30-minute consultations to help us decide if we might be a good fit.
