We all carry our own inner strength, wisdom, and resilience, but our authentic self can get obscured by life experiences. I see my therapist role as facilitator and support on your journey through healing and/or self development. To this role I bring, as well as formal education and training, half a century of living and learning. I support individual adults, embracing all types of diversity, and have a strong interest in Indigenous culture and issues. Trauma, anxiety, anger issues, grief and loss, depression, caregiver stress, interpersonal and narcissistic abuse and also posttraumatic and personal growth are some areas of your life we might explore together. I believe the whole of your life (including mental, emotional, physical, social, and spiritual if desired-however that is expressed) is important when addressing issues of concern to you. We might do this with talk, mindfulness, guided imagery, experiential modalities (eg: psychodrama), expressive movement, somatic exploration, meeting your Inner Child and Inner Critic and/or applying cognitive behavioural strategies or whatever I can offer that meets you where you are.
