(She/Her)

I am Sarah (she/her), a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Psychotherapy intern at Healing Roots Therapy. I value and respect the vulnerability and openness that it takes to reach out for help. I am committed to supporting your pursuit of improved mental health by encouraging healing, growth, and empowerment in a safe, inclusive, and collaborative environment where you feel respected, seen, and heard.

I believe that you are the expert in your own life. I offer a client-centered, culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach to therapy. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, perinatal and postpartum mental health, fertility challenges, trauma, stress management, eating disorders and disordered eating, self-esteem, identity, transitions, and relationships. We will work together to create a therapeutic journey that is aligned with your unique needs and context in an integrative and holistic way. We will do this by drawing upon techniques from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including: Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to best suit your needs.

I offer individual therapy sessions in-person, online, and by phone. I invite you to set up a free consultation here to discuss the possibility of working together and I look forward to hearing from you.
