Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re already carrying so much. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, addiction, eating disorders, or the lasting effects of domestic violence, you don’t have to face it alone.
My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. Together, we’ll explore the experiences that have shaped your life, identify the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical strategies that help you feel more confident, resilient, and in control.
As an immigrant who has lived in Canada for over 20 years, I understand the complexities of navigating different cultures, identities, and expectations. I have strong connections to both Canadian and South Asian communities and offer therapy in English, Urdu, and Hindi, allowing clients to express themselves in the language that feels most natural.
I take a client-centred, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach, recognizing that every person’s story is unique. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all method, I tailor therapy to your individual needs, taking into account your relationships, life experiences, cultural background, personality, and the challenges you’re facing today.
I have several years of experience supporting children, youth, and adults with a wide range of mental health concerns. I hold a BSc in Psychology and Biology, am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) at Yorkville University, and have additional training in trauma-informed support and youth peer support.
Healing isn’t about becoming a different person—it’s about understanding yourself with greater compassion, building on your strengths, and creating lasting change. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honoured to support you on your journey.
