You’re living one life, but something inside you keeps reaching for another. Maybe there’s a quiet frustration, a sadness you can’t quite name, or a sense that the version of you showing up each day doesn’t match the one you long to be. That gap — between where you are and where you want to go — is often where our work begins.

I’d like to walk alongside you there.

As a Master of Psychotherapy student at the University of Guelph, I work with individuals, couples, and families using Narrative, Collaborative-Dialogic, and Solution-Focused approaches. Rather than holding rigidly to one modality, I stay flexible and attuned to what you’re experiencing in the moment — my focus is my way of being with you, and on the human-to-human connection between us.

My work supporting Indigenous survivors of sexual exploitation at Native Child and Family Services taught me to see each person as so much more than what has happened to them. As a Japanese Canadian who struggled with identity growing up, I relate personally to the weight of navigating layered identities — and while my experiences differ from those I’ve worked with, they allow me to empathize with and connect to identity struggles of many kinds.

Outside of sessions, I’m adventurous and curious — shaped by travel, Japanese culture, deep friendships, animals, and (honestly) a lot of Bravo TV.
