To help you, I use Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and provide a space to guide self discovery, self expression, and self compassion. Mindfulness helps us to not get overwhelmed by our distressing thoughts and physical sensations, and CBT provides techniques that can help change our thoughts, reactions and habits. It is my belief that therapy helps heal, strengthen, and/or change a person’s relationship with their self, history, and environment. This change can entail adopting coping skills, increasing awareness of how we treat our selves, and management of our environment.
