Are you wondering where your sense of joy and playfulness has gone? Are you struggling to give yourself the love and care you know you so deeply need? Perhaps you’re feeling creatively blocked or contemplating a major life change.
I would love to support you on your journey of self-discovery. I tailor my therapeutic approach to each client’s personality, history, and goals. Art therapy is the primary modality I use. It can feel intimidating at first, but I do my best to create a safe, supportive environment where you can gently explore therapeutic art-making. Art-making is nervous system work — it helps expand our capacity to experience and process a wide range of emotions.
I also draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Somatic-based therapies are central to my work as well. For clients who are interested, I incorporate meditation, breathwork, and other somatic practices into sessions.
I believe each person holds innate inner wisdom, and my role is to help you access and trust that wisdom. Therapy can be a vulnerable experience, and I strive to offer a warm, mindful, and compassionate presence, creating a safe container for exploring and processing your emotions
I would be honoured to walk alongside you and be your cheerleader. Let’s start with a free 15-minute video call consultation to see if it feels like a good fit.
I also work with couples, using a variety of methods and modalities, but primarily based in the Gottman method.
