You are in a relationship with someone you love deeply, but are not getting your needs met. Perhaps your relationship has become fraught with conflict and confusion and you’re wondering where it all went wrong. Above all – your heart is hurting and you are looking to change the way you approach love and dating. I offer a love and relationship-focused approach to therapy that will explore past wounds and current behavioural patterns in order to improve your relationship or help you find a healthier one.
I offer a unique therapeutic experience. We will not just be talking through your issues – we will access the wisdom of body, mind, and soul through art-making and somatic (body-based) exercises. I believe all people contain innate inner wisdom, and I am simply a guide to help you access this wisdom. Therapy can be a very vulnerable experience, and I endeavour to provide a warm, mindful, compassionate presence in order to ensure the therapeutic space is a safe container for processing feelings and emotions.
I also work with couples, drawing on the Gottman Method as well as Emotionally Focused Therapy and mindfulness strategies. I see each person individually before we set out on our couples therapy journey together. Withe the right amount of intention and work in and out of session, we can work together to return to a place of support, love, and joy.
