About Shannon

Hi, welcome! My name is Shannon, and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). Other roles I hold include being a daughter, sister, aunt, and student of life. It is important for me to push myself out of my comfort zone, try new experiences and embrace the challenges that come in life. With this mindset, my hobby’s chance, almost like the seasons, from creating art, singing – in the car or shower, breaking a sweat on the dance floor, exploring in the kitchen, horseback riding, reading, weightlifting, and solo travelling. Currently, I am attempting to learn a new language. Mindfulness plays a significant role in all aspects of my life and has aided me in finding and following my passions.

I look forward to connecting and learning about you.

About Shannon as a Therapist

Hey! Welcome to the next steps in your personal journey! I want to acknowledge the bravery it takes to embark on your personal healing journey, no matter the stage you currently find yourself. Therapy is a beautiful tool that can aid you in creating the life you envision for yourself. My approach to psychotherapy starts with creating a space in which you can feel safe and non-judgemental, which allows you to explore your needs, wants, and desires, creating a brave space for honest and authentic work and growth to take place.

With psychotherapy, there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ since everyone’s lived experiences are unique to them, and how you perceive these experiences is equally unique. I value taking the time to understand you and your goals in the first few sessions so I can tailor the best therapeutic approach for you. My approach highlights that you are the expert of you, and as a registered psychotherapist (qualifying), I will support you on your healing journey through collaborative work.
