Each of us will experience periods life when it feels like we are carrying a lot. Perhaps you are struggling with significant anxiety or worry that is difficult to quiet, or feeling the effects of painful or overwhelming experiences. Maybe you’ve become disconnected from yourself while trying to keep everything together.
I am a Registered Social Worker providing psychotherapy to adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, shame and low self-esteem. I also work with adults who may be navigating grief, relationship challenges, emotional overwhelm, or life transitions. I bring a gentle and compassionate presence to our work together, and I hold deep respect for each person’s unique experiences.
I take an integrative approach to therapy, tailoring our work to your individual needs and goals. I integrate EMDR with evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, while using an attachment lens to understand the challenges you may be facing. My therapeutic style is trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and strengths-based.
It is important to me that therapy feel like a space where you can show up as you are and be met with compassion and understanding. We will take time to understand what has brought you here, and work together at a pace that feels manageable for you. My hope is that through our work together, you can develop greater clarity and a deeper understanding of yourself and the challenges you’re facing so that you can move forward with greater peace and self-compassion.
