Hi, I’m Shruti! My goal is to make sure you feel safe, seen, understood, and valued throughout the therapy process ✴
I will work alongside you –meeting you with honesty, authenticity, and flexibility. I will support you in holding yourself accountable in a supportive and empathetic way. I hope to bring different ways of thinking to the table, continually supporting your growth & opening you up to new perspectives and possibilities.
I’m passionate about working with clients who identify as disabled, BIPOC, and/or queer. I support clients in exploring their relational dynamics with partners, friends, peers, family, and in relationship with themselves. I support clients coping with burnout, school + work stress, self esteem struggles, cultural identity issues, life transitions and more.
My approach is person-centred, anti-oppressive, & trauma-informed. My work is rooted in feminist and anti-diet beliefs and supports health and wellness at any size. I aim to support you in dismantling the oppressive systems that hold you back.
My hope is through our work together you will feel empowered to make positive changes in your life, gain a deeper understanding of how to show up for yourself, and apply your learning beyond the therapy setting.
