Life often presents us with challenges that test our strength, patience, and self-belief, yet these very challenges can also become opportunities for growth and self-discovery. My goal is to help you discover and cultivate your own personal strengths to make these challenges more manageable and build confidence in your ability to navigate these hurdles with purpose and resilience.
Through various roles as a community volunteer in diverse communities, as well as my own experiences growing up in an immigrant family, I became aware early on of how social, cultural, and environmental factors shape our personal lives. This interest in understanding how people adapt, grow, and find meaning is what eventually led me to the field of psychotherapy.
My approach to counselling is holistic and predominantly person-centred, drawing on interventions from other modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Humanistic therapy, and mindfulness-based practices to tailor treatment plans for each client’s unique goals and circumstances. Above all, I aim to create a safe, open, and non-judgmental space where you can express yourself freely and explore your story at your own pace.
