Life can feel heavy when you’re carrying the weight of trauma, grief, identity struggles, or the silence of unspoken pain. As someone who has walked through the complexities of displacement, gender expectations, and starting over in a new culture, I bring both professional insight and lived experience into the therapy room.
As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), former physician, and Counselling Psychology student under clinical supervision, I take a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach. My identity as a Sudanese immigrant and multilingual therapist helps me attune to the layered experiences many clients face when living between roles, cultures, and identities. I offer therapy in both English and Arabic.
You don’t have to navigate this alone. I work with clients who are ready to begin healing from:
- The long-term impact of trauma
- Emotional burnout and chronic stress
- Cultural identity conflicts and immigrant experiences
- Grief, ambiguous loss, and life transitions
- Relationship challenges and attachment wounds
- Anxiety, low self-worth, and inner critic patterns
- Feeling emotionally disconnected or stuck in survival mode
My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and Somatic Therapy. I also draw on mindfulness techniques as needed to support regulation and deeper self-connection. In our sessions, you’ll find a steady, non-judgmental space to process, reflect, and move forward—at your own pace.
If you’re ready to begin or curious about the process, I invite you to book a free 30-minute consultation. You deserve a space where your story is met with care, your healing is supported, and your voice is central.
