About…

Hi there,

It’s not by chance that you came across this page & are reading this. You’re dealing with something that does not feel right – something that’s impeding the life you hope for… where you can be free to be yourself and experience a life of joy and abundance. The reality is, life comes with challenges that can sometimes weigh us down, leaving us feeling heavy, uncertain and out of balance. That weight is even harder to carry when you feel alone and overwhelmed, bombarded by thoughts of worry, self-doubt, or feelings of grief, pain & hopelessness. The truth is, you don’t have to carry your burdens alone or try to figure them out on your own.

I am passionate about helping youth and adults overcome their struggles – whether that be relationship issues, parenting, fear, anxiety, burnout, trauma, confidence issues, or self-limiting beliefs. I have years of experience working at CMHA in the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy Program, coaching youth and adults suffering from anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation. My lived experiences with social exclusion and anxiety shaped my compassionate, culturally humble approach to therapy. I’m passionate about helping you make sense of your life story, heal from trauma, access your inner resources, and know you are enough. My trauma-informed approach draws on CBT, DBT, IFS, Somatic Experiencing, motivational interviewing and Adlerian therapy amoung others.

I believe healing begins by examining your unique experiences. You may have experienced complex or intergenerational trauma that has impacted your way of being and doing, and has caused you to lose sight of your true self. I look forward to helping you reclaim the person you desire to be. My specialty areas include trauma, stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, confidence, and relationship issues.

You don’t have to know where you want to start or exactly what you want to say. I invite all parts of you into the therapy space – body, mind and soul. Offering a warm, attentive, non-judgmental ear, I look forward to working with you to connect with your values, strengths and purpose, and to overcome your challenges. With the right support, you’ll see that your life can be different.
