About…

You may feel like you carry so much inside—grief, anxiety, longings, self-doubt, and emotions that are hard to name, feel, or share. You may desire connection and peace—with others, yourself, and the world around you—but something feels in the way. You may move through the world with a feeling of aloneness, difference, or isolation. You yearn for a life that feels vibrant and true.  I offer a space to gently work toward your goals, healing, and a sense of inner belonging.

As a Pre-Licensed Professional and Expressive Arts Therapy student under clinical supervision, I weave intermodal expressive arts, somatic, psychodynamic, and relational approaches, and bring attunement to existential, transpersonal, and intergenerational themes. Our work is led by your pace and grounded in creativity, curiosity, and care.

About Me
My path into therapy has been shaped by profound personal experiences of struggle and healing, and by over a decade spent supporting others as a crisis line responder, support worker for neurodivergent individuals, childcare provider, and facilitator of community arts and recreation programs—experiences that instilled in me a deep love for the human condition and the unique spirit of each person. I also spent years training, exploring, and working in theatre and other arts.

How I work
In our work together, I draw on several approaches that support healing, meaning-making, and connection.

 – Expressive Arts Therapy invites us to engage with image, movement, sound, sensation, poetry, metaphor, drama, and imagination as ways of exploring what conversation alone often can’t express. This is a process-based, non-judgmental approach that helps us access new insights, and ways of communicating, being, and knowing.  Through the arts we experience ourselves as resilient, creative, deeply alive and expressed beings, which can translate into our wider lives and self-perceptions. Working with the arts together also shapes the relational space between us: we may shift fluidly between roles like witness, guide, and collaborator, as well as between modalities, and in doing so, we cultivate a unique kind of intimacy, attunement, and flexibility grounded in presence and trust.

– A relational therapeutic lens means that our connection itself becomes part of the work; how we feel in the room together, what we notice between us, and the unfolding dynamic over time all serve as meaningful material.

– From a psychodynamic perspective, we may also explore how early experiences and unconscious patterns shape your current thoughts, feelings, and relationships. Dreams and subtle inner experiences are welcomed as part of the terrain we can explore together.

Overall, I believe meaningful change arises through the therapeutic relationship as we collaborate to reawaken and support your innate capacities for healing, connection, creativity, transformation, and making meaning of your experiences. In our sessions, we can explore and express through both conversation and the arts. I take a non-pathologizing, humanistic approach.
