Reaching out for support takes courage, and it may turn out to be one of the most meaningful investments you ever make in yourself. Many of the people I work with arrive feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure why they keep struggling. If you’re looking for a therapist who understands the realities of culture, faith, family, and the particular weight of starting over, you’re in the right place.
I’m Stacey-Ann, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and MA in Counselling Psychology student practising under clinical supervision. I came to Canada as an immigrant, and I’ve spent over twenty five years supporting behavioural and neurodivergent students in the school system, along with young people in group homes and open custody settings. That work taught me something I carry into every session: that behaviour is rarely the whole story, and the person underneath it deserves to be understood before anything else.
I came to this work partly through my own experience of therapy, of having somewhere to be vulnerable and feel genuinely understood. It brought out a resilience in me I didn’t know I had. So when we work together, I won’t try to fix you or move faster than you’re ready for. I’ll meet you where you are and give you room to make sense of what you’re carrying, and to find your footing and your own strength again.
If any of this resonates, I invite you to reach out to book a complimentary 30-minute consultation. We can start wherever you are.
