Hello & Welcome! I am a Master of Arts student in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I believe that each person arrives in therapy with a unique story shaped by their lived experiences, and I am deeply committed to honouring your journey with care, respect, and compassion.
My approach is collaborative and holistic, meeting you where you are and moving at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we’ll explore patterns in your daily life, strengthen your existing coping skills, and gently create meaningful, lasting change using evidence-based approaches. I strive to help you develop strategies that fit your real life while fostering self-compassion and resilience along the way.
Reaching out for support takes courage, and I want you to know that this first step matters. You don’t have to navigate things alone. I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe to reflect, grow, and reconnect with yourself.
My areas of focus include anxiety, stress management, self-compassion, grief, life transitions, relationships, trauma, identity exploration, depression, and postpartum depression.
To make therapy more accessible, I offer your first full session free, followed by low-cost sessions at $50 per session.
Under the clinical supervision of Rochelle Brandt, Registered Psychotherapist and Clinical Traumatologist, I integrate the following therapeutic approaches:
Person-Centered Therapy (PCT): A collaborative, empathetic approach that honours your pace and perspective, creating a safe and supportive space for growth.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): Helps identify and reframe unhelpful thoughts and behaviours to support emotional well-being and positive change.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Encourages mindful awareness and values-based action to help you navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and purpose.
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT): Supports emotional regulation through mindfulness, distress tolerance, and practical coping skills.
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT): Focuses on present-moment awareness and cultivating a compassionate, non-judgmental relationship with your thoughts and feelings.
