About…

(She/Her) My passion is working with women to help them get to the next stage in their lives.  I have worked in women’s organizations in the social service field for 15 years and have seen some major transformations with the women I have had the honour of working with. Many of my clients have overcome challenges of low self-esteem, abuse, mental health issues and life transitions to now flourishing in their new lives. I believe that traumatic events such as abuse and violence, if left untreated, can lead to mental health challenges and act as a filter that alters our development and how we see the world around us. I have a strong belief that talking about our difficulties will release trauma from our brains and moving our bodies in specific ways will release trauma from our bodies. Creating a lasting change can sometimes be difficult without help, we may not know where to start.  Counselling is a good place to start and a good way to bring change to your life.  If you are open to it, each session will begin with breathing exercises and /or a body scan to calm the nervous system.  A calm nervous system will enable us to get deeper in our conversation.   In conversation we will work towards understanding what might be getting in the way of living the life you want. Each session ends with a soothing and relaxing meditation. The journey towards self-awareness can be difficult and painful, but it is worth it. We will work together to explore the nature of your suffering and your unique strengths. provide counselling support for:
