(She/Her) As a therapist I specialize in treating both individuals and couples utilizing an eclectic, trauma-informed and multi-disciplinary approach grounded in evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, narrative and mindfulness based therapies, Gottman Method, as well as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). With a background that includes over a decade in recreation therapy, yoga, personal training and coaching, I integrate aspects of behavioral change to support comprehensive whole body growth and wellness. I enjoy assisting individuals with personal growth, coping with grief, and rebuilding self-worth and confidence. Additionally, I have experience treating anxiety disorders, depression, binge eating, and chronic pain.
I specialize in helping clients through transition points. Bridging the narrative between past and present, we will move toward a future built on goals, progress and growth that is attainable, sustainable, and meaningful. Using a client-centered and strengths-based approach, I work collaboratively with my clients to explore and address what are often layered intersectional concerns ranging from depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, chronic pain, and self-confidence. Currently I offer remote accessible virtual therapy services through tele-health (phone or video) which you can access from the comfort of your own home. I am happy to meet with you and arrange a free 20-minute consultation to discuss your needs, determine if it is a good fit to work together, or provide a referral to additional services.
