She/her.
I believe we heal through safe connections and relationships. Relationship to self, community, and the land. This perspective is how I approach my therapeutic practice; together we create a sacred space to explore your challenges, successes and concerns. I specialize in working with people living with mental health challenges, grief and loss, traumatic death, spirituality, life transitions, stress and burnout, substance use and those who wish to explore alternative forms of wellness. Other common issues are PTSD/Complex trauma, emotional regulation, managing HIV/AIDS and other chronic illness. I see adults and youth ages 14+. I practice from an integrative lens; using techniques from CBT, DBT, ACT and compassionate enquiry, to offer clarity and insight into ones functioning. I am grounded in person centered, anti oppressive, strength based, and trauma informed care. I help you to create a life you want to be living. I incorporate expressive-arts, somatic, land based interventions. I look forward to connecting with you and to understand what you are hoping to gain from counselling. My goal is to create a safe and sacred space, that allows you to be your authentic self and work through the hard and confusing times. I understand the importance of connection and safety with a counsellor from my own experience of attending counselling.
I am a registered social worker across British Columbia, Ontario, and the Northwest Territories.
