“Together is the better way through” – John Green. Whether you’re looking to expand awareness on your existing process & explore what is and isn’t working, or there’s an accumulation of unresolved pockets of feeling causing stuckness that need to be unraveled and felt through, or you’re looking for an experimental space where you’d like to explore a different movement, a different response, a different expression of an emotion, I’m here to make sure you’re not alone in this new emergent process for you.
I practice sitting in solidarity with you through difficult emotions like grief, anger, hurt, lethargy and apathy to understand what they are a response to before a shift can be made. The discomfort is part of the process and my approach is a non-urgent, gentle response to making shifts over the period of time that your brain and body agree with. Using metaphors, visual experiments, exploring sensations in the body, mindfully and with intention, we will get comfortable with being with what is and exploring what you’re bringing to therapy. Some of my work with clients has been to experiment with supported challenges – expressing & embodying anger/conflict, anxiety, depression, rest, endings, uncertainty and more.
