Life can be challenging as each day may bring unexpected stresses or circumstances. We may not always be able to control what comes our way, but we can learn ways to cope in these situations and train our minds to help us in times of distress.
I believe that everyone has the strength within themselves to overcome their challenges and reaching out for support can be one of those strengths. My hopes are to help you on your journey towards growth and self-discovery by using a culturally-informed practice and working together to navigate through obstacles, activate resources, and build resilient coping skills.
I specialize in working with youth, individuals, and families from diverse backgrounds that may be experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional disturbances, BIPOC/cultural issues, life transitions, interpersonal conflict, and suicidal thoughts.
In my free time, I love travelling, learning about different cultures and trying new experiences. I also enjoy being outdoors in nature and finding a sense of calm through writing, meditation, and yoga.
