Hi, I’m Sunaina.
I think one of the frustrating things about struggling is that you can be doing everything you’re “supposed” to be doing and still not feel quite like yourself.
Maybe your mind rarely switches off. You second-guess yourself, lose hours to overthinking, or feel like ADHD makes simple things unnecessarily difficult. Maybe relationships bring out sides of you that you don’t fully understand. You want closeness but pull away, avoid difficult conversations, worry about disappointing people, or find yourself repeating dynamics you promised yourself would be different this time.
And sometimes, there isn’t a clear problem at all. You’re functioning. You’re getting through your days. But something could feel better.
I work with anxiety, ADHD, trauma, relationships, attachment, self-esteem, family dynamics, and life transitions. I’m especially interested in how our past experiences and relationships can quietly shape the way we think, communicate, cope, and connect today.
I’m also someone who likes to understand why. Rather than only focusing on getting rid of a difficult feeling, I want us to understand what it might be telling us and why it keeps showing up.
You can expect me to be present and involved in our conversations. I’ll ask questions, point out things I notice, and help you look at situations from different angles. Some sessions might go somewhere deeper than expected. Others might involve venting about your week, figuring out one specific problem, or even laughing about something along the way.
There isn’t one “right” way to do therapy. We’ll figure out what yours looks like together.
