About…

Do you feel conflicted and confused about your purpose and meaning in life? Are you struggling with the relationship that you have with yourself and others? To live is to experience human struggle; human struggle within ourselves and with others. Navigating life’s challenges and problems in uncertain times can feel lonely and overwhelming. Thoughts, emotions and behaviours make it difficult to live in the present, leaving us anxious and unsettled about the future. Although we cannot choose our struggles, every human being has within themselves the power and freedom to navigate their pathway forward. The act of reaching out for help is a sign of strength and a desire for connection. Together, in a supportive and inclusive space, we will work collaboratively toward identifying your needs and developing a plan. Through skills building, using resources, and evidence-based therapy models, you will be able to access new understandings of yourself, leading to a balanced, intentional and meaning life full of hope. With over 30 years of experience in education, through a lens of advocacy and equity, I have worked with children, families, colleagues and the community to meet the unique individual needs of students in areas such as academics, learning skills, self esteem, behaviour, and mental health. I am passionate about supporting women and the challenges they face in today’s world. To honour your availability, I offer a variety of ways to connect for an appointment. Choose video, telephone, or Walk and Talk therapy. Contact me today through Roots in Wellness for a free 15 minutes consultation.
