About…

As your therapist, my greatest priority is to create an accepting and compassionate space where you can feel free to be yourself, exactly as you are. My wish is that you leave our sessions feeling seen, valued, and hopeful that change is possible. Together, we can gently unpack your burdens and explore what may be keeping you from living a more comfortable and fulfilling life.  Should you be seeking deeper healing, we can incorporate holistic, evidence-based treatments (such as EMDR) into our work together in a manner that honours your own pace/timing. Through collaboration, we can also find creative ways to build upon your strengths, so that you can better cope with life’s challenges.

I am a strong advocate of inclusivity and have extensive professional and personal experience in social services working with people from marginalized communities. As an LGBTQ2+ affirmative practitioner, I aim to provide culturally competent and responsive therapy that celebrates human diversity in all of its forms.

I use a holistic and person-centered approach to help adults of all ages manage mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief and loss, self-defeating behaviours/addictions, low self-esteem, shame/guilt, lack of assertiveness, and relationship issues. I draw upon elements of different evidence-based modalities in which I’ve been trained including: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT); Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR); Existential-Humanistic Therapy; Internal Family Systems (IFS); Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT); The Gottman Method; and Narrative Therapy.

My sessions are conducted exclusively online. I offer a sliding scale with fees ranging from $90.00 to $120.00 per session, with limited spots for low-cost services. I offer a free initial 30 minutes phone consultation to help us determine if we are a good fit. Please click on the link in my contact list to complete a request form. Everyone’s healing path looks different. It would be my honour to help guide you on your way toward meaningful change.
