Starting therapy can be intimidating, especially if you don’t know where to start or what to expect. I work to make the process feel as welcoming and comfortable as possible, starting with simple conversations about who you are and what brought you to therapy. I believe therapy should be a collaborative and supportive process, where we can work together to understand your experiences and find an approach that feels most helpful and meaningful for you.
Feeling safe enough to be open and honest in our sessions is an essential part of healing and allows us to better understand what you need from therapy. That’s why it’s important to me to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up as you are and bringing any concerns you may have without judgment. Everyone deserves to feel heard and understood, and I am dedicated to ensuring that our work together reflects your needs, values, and goals.
I have previous experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, neurodivergence, relationship challenges, and life transitions, among other concerns. I recognize that these experiences can look different for everyone, which is why I take an individualized and integrative approach to therapy. I draw from approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and trauma-informed care, based on what you are experiencing and what feels most helpful for you.
