(She/Her) Hi, I’m delighted to meet you and I’m glad you’re here!
Counselling does not have to be a forever endeavour; let’s get you back in the living of your life. Narrative therapy offers a conversation centered on your unique experiences, and seeking to find change by understanding what’s going on. I believe that counselling is about finding your voice and seeking your ‘preferred’ you. And it’s about the whole you, because problems do not exist alone, but always within the larger context of daily life. Everyone has an inherent right to be who they are, in all their own wonderful ways that are unique to one person only.
Narrative practices can be enlightening and relieving with dealing with powerful emotions like anxiety and depression, negotiating boundaries, the call of perfection, changing patterns, supporting healing, the voice of guilt, suffering under the shoulds, current or past trauma, loneliness, discrimination, gender identity, improving relationships, exploring your sense of diagnoses.
If you are longing to get started working on the problem, let’s talk. Having clarity can result in empowerment for living life on your terms. I provide a welcoming, attentive and safe space for a purposeful and collaborative conversation. I am a registered social worker with a Master’s degree in clinical practice from the University of Calgary. Anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, LGBTQIA2S+ and BIPOC affirming. No lengthy waitlists. We can meet by video or voice for a no-fee consultation.
