Hi, I’m delighted to meet you here!
I believe that therapy is about seeking your “preferred” you, a life lived by the call of your spirit. And it’s about the whole you, because problems do not exist alone, but always in the larger context of daily life.
What is it that you won’t stand for anymore, what are you most longing to change?
At the heart of my practice is working alongside people to find their own voice and live by their own values – not someone else’s. Sustained change can come with clarity and with finding new ways to look at the problem. I have experience supporting people with anxiety, pandemic stress, suffering under ‘the shoulds’, depression, loneliness, work and school struggles, the pressures of guilt and shame, current or past trauma, anger, discrimination, the call of perfection, relationship worries or conflict, suicidal thoughts, world crisis events, substance use and more.
Bring all that you’ve been up against and we’ll be full of curiosity about what has been getting in the way of the kind of day you actually want to have. More than just someone to listen, I am here to figure it out with you.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in Narrative therapy practices and is trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, LGBTQIA2S+ and BIPOC affirming. I am a Registered Social Worker with an MSW, Clinical Specialization (many insurance plans cover MSW).
Online sessions across Alberta and Ontario. I so look forward to talking with you!
