(She/Her) Hi, I’m delighted to meet you here!
I believe that therapy is about seeking your best you, a life lived by the call of your spirit. And it’s about the whole you, because problems do not exist alone, but always in the larger context of daily life. Our conversations will be collaborative and never one-size-fits-all because they are centred around your unique lived experiences.
What are you most longing to change, what is it you won’t stand for anymore, what do you long to embrace, or it’s time to let go of? I am passionate about working alongside people to find their own voice and live by their own values – not someone else’s. Sustained change can come with clarity and with finding new ways to look at the problem.
I have supported people from diverse backgrounds with anxiety, depression, suffering under ‘the shoulds’, loneliness and isolation, work and school struggles, the pressures of guilt and shame, current or past trauma, childhood, anger, discrimination, the call of perfection, family and partner relationships, life transitions, suicidal thoughts, substance use and more.
Bring all that you’ve been up against and we’ll be full of curiosity about what has been getting in the way of the kind of day you actually want to have.
I am a Registered Social Worker with an MSW, Clinical Specialization (many insurance plans accept MSW). My therapeutic approach is grounded in Narrative therapy practices, is anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and LGBTQIA2S+ and BIPOC affirming.
Online sessions across Alberta and Ontario. Sessions at $65 are available. We can meet for a no-fee 15 minute consultation; currently I have openings for a full hour counselling session as early as next week. I so look forward to talking with you!
