Tasia is currently completing a Master’s degree in counselling psychology at Yorkville University, and is a member of the CRPO as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). She endeavours to provide a safe, non-judgemental, and empathetic space in which her clients feel comfortable discussing their problems and experiences. Such problems could be related to anxiety, depression, ADHD/Autism, neurodivergent experiences, 2SLGBTQIA+ experiences, grief, relationship issues, and other mental health problems. Tasia uses an integrative approach to therapy, combining predominantly Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Strengths-Based Approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Self-Compassion.
She believes that psychotherapy is most effective when following a person-centered approach, wherein the client is the expert in their own life and the therapist is there to support them in reaching their goals. As such, her clients can expect to have their needs and experiences listened to attentively and respectfully, and never discounted.
Tasia is located in Mississauga and offers in-person and virtual sessions. If you are interested in working with Tasia, please reach out via email or phone to schedule a free, 15 minute consultation.
