I imagine that you have found yourself here today because you are looking for answers to a multitude of questions. I can imagine too that you might be hurting or struggling and are in need of support and relief. Perhaps you are confused about how you are feeling but know that you are in need of a change. I believe that we all need help at times in our lives and don’t have to go it alone. Together we can explore what exists beneath those questions. Just know that I want to hear from you. I believe that what you have to say and what you are feeling is valid.
Through a client-centered approach, I aim to provide care delivered with an empathic and non-judgmental outlook rooted in an anti-oppressive and anti-racist framework. I approach each client as unique. You have arrived at this present moment in time with your own story. I will engage with you with this understanding in mind and with respect for the road you are on and the way in which you experience the world around you. Together we will address experiences that have led to trauma, feelings of shame, attachment patterns, anxiety, burnout, grief, and intergenerational wounds.
The type of therapy I practice is relational and collaborative. I aim to approach each session with warmth, openness, and curiosity. My wish for my clients is to be able to live full, authentic, and rich lives. While I welcome all to my practice, I am passionate about working with people who have had adverse childhood experiences, such as abuse or trauma, and as a result are finding disruptive or destructive patterns continuing in their present lives.
If you think we may be a good therapeutic fit, I welcome you to contact me to book a free initial consultation so we can get to know each other further.
