The decision to seek support when you need it enforces your self-determination, self-care, and self-honour. I would like to acknowledge this (probably) difficult but necessary choice to explore talk therapy as a resource for insight and personal growth. I am a student at Yorkville University in the Master of Counselling Psychology programme and I am completing my practicum under clinical supervision as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I will be using my passion for helping others as the foundation of our journey together as I develop my skills as a clinician. That means I enter this therapeutic space with enthusiasm and curiosity to learn about you. My goal is to center your needs and identity based on my culturally humble, anti-oppressive, and anti-racist approach. Based on my complex identity, intersectionality and lived experiences, I have developed a genuine compassion for others and the understanding that there are various internal and external factors that contribute to our quality of life. Through collaboration, I hope to provide a space where you will feel safe to explore your life’s challenges.
