As a child of immigrant parents who sought refuge in Canada due to war, I understand the complexities of navigating multiple cultural identities, intergenerational trauma, and balancing expectations. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the challenges my family faced—language barriers, cultural disconnects in healthcare, and the struggle to access mental health support that truly understood our experiences. These moments shaped my passion for providing accessible, client-centered therapy through a socially just and culturally informed lens. As a Pre-Licensed Professional and MA in Counselling Psychology student under supervision, I understand how overwhelming it can be to carry self-doubt and responsibility while navigating two cultural worlds.
