About…

I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. With a strong foundation in psychology and extensive experience in the non-profit mental health sector, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion, curiosity, and hope. Through my experience at Pilgrims Hospice Society, I have supported clients through profound grief, loss, and major life transitions. This work has deepened my understanding of the resilience people possess, even during periods of uncertainty, and reinforced my belief that healing and personal growth are possible through authentic connection and self-discovery.

I strive to create a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, values, and lived experiences. I work with individuals experiencing grief and loss, life transitions, caregiver burnout, compassion fatigue, relationship concerns, stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD, low self-esteem, and other emotional and mental health challenges. My approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while also drawing from Narrative Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. Together, we can clarify what matters most to you, reconnect with your strengths, develop greater psychological flexibility, and move toward a life that feels authentic and meaningful. My couples work is informed by Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 1), helping partners manage conflict, strengthen friendship, and create shared meaning. Above all, I believe counselling is not about fixing what is broken, but about walking alongside people as they rediscover their resilience, deepen their relationship with themselves, and create lasting, values-based change.
