Life can be tough sometimes. With over ten years working in both community settings and private practices, I have seen people not just struggling with their chronic illness and physical pain, also emotional pain. I use a holistic approach to support you in the healing journey.
I spent my childhood in China and immigrated to Canada when I was young adult. I graduated from Niagara College with a Recreation Therapy Program, and obtain both a Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work from York University in Canada. Growing up in an Asian family, we don’t share how we feel with our families. We need to hear our needs matter; seeking therapy takes a lot of encouragement and steps out of our comfort zone. We are afraid of being judged, ignored or told our needs don’t matter.
You are not alone. I believe everyone deserves a safe space to share their thoughts and feelings. Together, we do the work; you will get better.
