About…

I’m a Métis graduate student at the University of Toronto completing a Masters of Education in Counselling Psychology. If you’re looking for affordable and low barrier access to therapy, I offer low-fee therapy ($45) for Indigenous clients and a sliding scale for non-Indigenous clients.

I understand how challenging it may be to start a new therapy journey, so I first focus on building a trusting, empathic and respectful relationship where you can share your experiences without judgment. I have particular interest in helping men and adolescents (16+) but am keen on supporting all those in their healing journeys.

I believe it’s important to find balance in our lives, and that’s why I like to explore wellness from a holistic lens. I value collaboratively working together to identify therapeutic goals and exploring things in depth, no matter where you are in your healing.

I don’t think anything is insurmountable and that when supported by others, we can embrace all that life has to offer. I am learning to use Emotion-Focused Therapy and draw on Cognitive-Behavioural, Dialectical-Behavioural, and Narrative Therapy approaches at times. Please reach out for a consultation if you think we may be a good fit.

With care,

Tom.
