Through my own self-discovery journey, I’ve learned that we control our actions and reactions in every situation. We have the power to influence our lives in the direction we want, sometimes we just need a little reminder along the way. I operate through a solution-focused, client-centred lens.
I want to help you develop the capability to live a more mindful and intentional lifestyle. My goal is to empower you with the skills required to navigate any barriers that life may create. I work from the ideology that individuals posses within them everything they need to be more aligned with their true, authentic selves.
In order to access this, we need to bring awareness to the present moment and examine what is currently limiting our beliefs. I aim to provide a safe, non-judgemental environment, while encouraging and supporting you to be an active participant in the therapeutic process. Tsa Alexander is a graduate of the University of Akron, (Akron, Ohio) earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Criminal Justice. She then returned to Ontario and completed a diploma in Social Service Work at Loyalist College in Belleville, ON.
After graduating, Tsa began a career in social service work, where she engaged directly with children and families. Using solution-focused brief therapy and mindfulness based approaches, she aims to empower her clients with the skills they need to overcome obstacles.
Tsa is currently a Master of Education—Counselling Psychology candidate at the University of Toronto, OISE. She is also a certified guided meditation facilitator.
