Do you feel caught between different expectations, cultures, or ways of being that don’t always line up? Maybe you’ve learned to quiet parts of yourself to keep the peace, or you’re not always sure which choices are truly your own and which are the voice of family or culture speaking through you. Therapy can be a space to slow down and make sense of what’s underneath all of it.
I’m Tsela (she/her), a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and MA in Counselling Psychology student under clinical supervision. I work with individuals navigating life transitions, identity, and self-worth, often while carrying the weight of family or cultural expectations. Before this, I spent time supporting people through trauma and serious mental health challenges in a shelter setting. That experience showed me the importance of creating a space where people feel heard and supported, even during difficult moments.
Therapy with me isn’t one-size-fits-all. I meet you where you are, and together we create a space where you can be your authentic self without fear of judgment. I won’t assume I know what your background means to you, instead I’ll ask, listen, and invite you to guide what feels most important. My role is to support you in exploring your experience in a way that feels meaningful and true to you.
