Tyner (they/them) is a white nonbinary and pansexual therapist who values the importance of providing a very human therapy experience. This involves using humor and self-disclosure around their own mental health and storytelling to teach skills and reflections that textbooks and therapy manuals cannot provide. They use mainly CBT but weave in feminist, decolonizing, and anti-oppressive lenses to empower clients and humanize CBT. They love to celebrate and help navigate gender transitions and provide information to those who support neurodivergent and queer people. They also provide trauma therapy (CPT, TF-CBT, some somatic/ACT) and have worked with those with CPTSD and DID. They have attended BIPOC specific trauma trainings that were led by BIPOC. Kinksters, poly people, alternative/scene folks, therians, furries, and otherkin are welcome!
In-person sessions include home visits and walk-and-talk in the Wellington County area. I currently don’t have an in-person office.
