(She/Her) You are not alone. For most people, this pandemic has tested the limits of our resilience. When things are uncertain, your ability to cope can seem fragile or missing altogether. You can feel stuck in a spiral of negativity, or react in ways you wish you didn’t, making it hard to be present in your life and in your relationships. Thriving becomes almost unimaginable as you try to get through each day. What’s happened in the past, and fears about what might happen in the future can take up more and more of your energy, making it harder to live the way you want to live, or be who you want to be. Getting easily overwhelmed, or down on yourself, you might find it hard to engage in activities and with other people in ways that are important to you.
It is often difficult to know where to start when negative thoughts and emotions take over. Facing your problems can be hard—in working with me, you’ll find a caring, compassionate ally. I’m here to help you make sense of your struggles and to support you in making the shifts needed to live a more fulfilling life. Together we will look at the ways you want to feel better and explore a clear and direct path to getting there.

I am registered with the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario and I’m a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I am also a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. I use a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches including mindfulness- attachment-, and cognitive-behavioural-based therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I also take a somatic lens to address stress that we carry in the body. Guided by your unique strengths and values, we will collaborate to find healthier, more connected ways of being–both with yourself and with others. My main focus is on supporting you in achieving balance and a sense of empowerment to break from the patterns of thinking and behaviours that are holding you back.
