(She/Her)
My Name is Victoria and I’m a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. I strongly believe that everyone can benefit from therapy and that cost should not be a barrier. I am particularly interested in providing affordable virtual therapy to LGBTQ individuals living in rural communities who do not have the same access to culturally sensitive care as those members of our communities living in large urban settings.
I completed my Masters of Social Work at the University of Toronto in 2015, with a focus on Social Justice and Diversity. Originally from Toronto, and having lived in Ottawa, I have called the Bay of Quinte home for the past three years. I have provided individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, adults and families for the past six years in Toronto, Peel Region, and Hastings and Prince Edward Counties and have worked in various capacities with LGBTQ communities over the past ten years.
I approach my work with clients with compassion and curiosity and I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy. The relationship between client and therapist is a powerful tool for healing and I hope to provide a safe space for you to explore your lived experiences and current challenges.
