Are you struggling to find your way through a difficult situation? Or do you feel stuck in old patterns you can’t seem to change? Virginia works with adults and teens to renegotiate their relationships with themselves, others, and the problems they face. She approaches therapy with a curious, compassionate, nonjudgmental, and straightforward attitude.
Virginia’s practice is holistic, informed by neuroscience, attachment, culture, and the body. She is trained in narrative therapy and uses elements from cognitive behavioural, mindfulness, and relational approaches to resolve feelings like anxiety, anger, or depression. She has a special interest in trauma and working with bodily sensation to release emotions and outdated stories that hold people back from living their best lives right now.
With experience as a writing coach and editor, Virginia is deeply interested in the creative process of personal development. She is also passionate about social issues and believes everyone deserves a supportive space to be heard and heal no matter how they live or identify. She is currently completing the practicum portion of her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University and has been a student member in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association since 2020.
