Sometimes life seems difficult, and we may feel like nothing is working. We feel lonely, isolated, self-doubt, depressed, anxious, overwhelmed, hopeless, and helpless. We long for connections, while afraid of being hurt. We hope that someone can listen to us and validate our emotions, suffering, and struggles; we hope to be seen, heard, and cared for. However, it can be scary to reach out for support, showing our vulnerabilities and not knowing how others will respond to them. Indeed, it takes a lot of courage to ask for help and connect to a therapist.
As a psychotherapist, I view myself as a walking stick that accompanies wounded individuals on their healing path. I aim to create a safe space for individuals to explore their identities, struggles, emotions, thoughts, and behaviours; with curiosities, we listen to what our body, mind, and spirit are trying to tell us, we work on how we can together redevelop a harmony inside us. In this safe space, you will not receive any judgments from others, and if there is self-judgment, we can explore it together.
My approach is holistic, client-centred, compassionate-focused, and strength-based. I provide spiritually integrated psychotherapy while applying techniques from IFS, family systems, DBT, narrative therapy, solution-focused therapy, and emotion-focused therapy. I believe we are experts in our own lives, and we just need someone we can connect with and trust — to accompany us, in our journey of being aware of our inner power, reconnecting to it, and knowing how to communicate with it.
I am available for a free 25-mins phone/video conversation — you can ask any questions you may have and determine if I am a good fit to accompany you on the healing journey.
