Hi, I’m Xenia. Are you feeling lost about your direction in life or having trouble communicating in your relationships? Do you feel stuck or have difficulty achieving your goals? I understand that it can feel overwhelming to move towards what you want when parts from your past are holding you back. As a collaborative and strength-based therapist, I will work with you to uncover and process your past experiences, so you can feel empowered in the present and future. My goal is to help you find yourself again, so that you can reclaim your agency and let go of things that aren’t within your control. Although this process can take some time and effort, I believe that the journey of self discovery and introspection can be incredibly rewarding and insightful.
As a child of immigrants, I recognize the struggle that comes from communicating with family members who hold different values than you. Cultural and social differences also show up in relationships and friendships, which can create miscommunication and unintentional hurt. In our work together, I will listen to your story and offer guidance based on your set goals. I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where you can explore what’s on your mind and discover how you’d like to show up in the world.
I hold a Master of Science from the University of Guelph’s Couple and Family Therapy program, where I gained extensive experience working with diverse individual and relational clients. I approach therapy using a systemic lens that considers your connections to others, society, and the world. I adapt my methods to each client, blending Dialogic, Solution-Focused, and Narrative therapies. If my approach resonates with you, I am happy to offer a free 15-minute consultation to learn more about how I can support you.
