Congratulations on taking such an important step towards healing and personal growth! Having recently transitioned from the corporate world into counselling, I understand first-hand how day-to-day stress can impact our mental health, relationships, and every other aspect of our lives. Having migrated to Canada in my youth, I also understand the challenges of navigating a new culture as well as multicultural relationships and family dynamics.
I am a psychotherapist in training, just completing the practical component of my Master of Counselling Psychology degree under the supervision of Jared Dalton at Blueprint Counselling. Whether you identify as neurodivergent or neurotypical, I would be honoured to support you in achieving your goals. I am also honoured to partner with members of LGBTQ+ and racialized communities and endeavour to understand how experiences of marginalization and oppression impact my clients and their families.
My approach to counselling is person-centered and informed by narrative therapy. I’ll join with you as you explore and claim authorship over your story. Together we’ll consider the themes and patterns of your past while gaining further clarity on your intentions and goal for your unfolding future. I also integrate techniques from Gestalt, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) approaches to provide a personalized approach to your treatment based on your unique needs and preferences.
