I work with folks going through life transitions, having difficulty in relationships, dealing with low self-esteem, or experiencing depression or anxiety. The folks I work with often find that patterns or feelings from their past are coming into their present in ways that no longer serve them.
Since we often experience hurt and harm in the context of relationships, we can also experience healing in the context of a therapeutic relationship. You can bring whatever you need or want to talk about to session and we will work together to make sense of what is happening for you, what patterns to let go of, and how to feel whole.
I understand that larger systems impact how folks are able to navigate their relationships with themself and others. I understand the necessity of contextualizing your experiences within those systems and I strive to practice therapy in an anti-oppressive and anti-racist way.
