Hey, I’m Zoe (She/her),
The movie Forrest Gump opens with the quote, “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get.” Let’s be honest, sometimes you get the one you really didn’t want. As a therapist, I help individuals navigate the surprises, disappointments, and transitions that life throws your way.
Whether that “box” may be dealing with the loss of a loved one and feeling untethered. Having family issues that feel as though they are never resolved. Suffering from low self-esteem and needing strategies to improve your life. Being in a relationship that shows signs of trouble but not wanting to throw in the towel. Feeling overwhelmed, depressed and anxious about your future. Whatever “box” you’ve been given, together we’ll build the tools you need to handle it, focusing on the sweetness and building resilience.
I provide you with a space that is warm, safe, non-judgmentaland filled with compassion. My therapeutic style is grounded in focusing on emotions and how they affect the way we process life’s events and our day-to-day struggles. I do not see anyone as “broken”. I see people as trying their best to navigate a difficult world with complicated circumstances and relationships.
I want to go on a journey with you, delving into your past to see how it has shaped your present and how we can work together to carve out a better future. I am not the expert on your life, you are. I am simply here to point out patterns and go beneath the surface to see how we can unlock the happiest version of you.
