Are you feeling disconnected from your body, struggling with shame, burnout, or emotional overwhelm? Maybe you’re navigating functional freeze or major life transitions and seeking ways to cope with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. As a first-generation immigrant who moved from Korea to Canada at age seven, I understand the challenges of adapting to new environments and how that shapes the nervous system and identity. My own journey through these experiences fuels my passion for supporting others in finding healing, grounding, and self-compassion. I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and MA in Counselling Psychology student under supervision. I use DBT, somatic, and attachment-based approaches in a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive way. My yoga teacher training supports mind-body healing and personalized strategies for nervous system regulation. I can also provide therapy in Korean.
If my approach aligns with what you’re looking for, please email Tabitha at tkpsychotherapy@proton.me and state my name so the clinic can forward me your request. I offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation to explore how we can best work together towards your goals.
